Mathelogics is an initiative by the students of Neerja Modi School that aims to demystify the complexities of mathematics while generating widespread interest in its theory and applications. The event consists of math competitions, fun-learning games, and talks by renowned scholars.
We are happy to announce the speaker for the day Prof. Siddhartha Gadgil, Ph.D. in Mathematics from California Institute of Technology, and a B.Stat degree from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He began his research career in (Low dimensional) Topology and worked for many years in that and related fields. In recent years, the primary focus of his research has been Automated Theorem Proving.
The talk is titled “ Recursion through 'Tower of Hanoi’ “ and is highly recommended for math enthusiasts particularly looking forward to exploring more about the field.
